Adams Farm Slaughterhouse in Athol is recalling beef, veal, and bison after seven people from four states, including three from MA, were infected with the E.coli virus that was traced back to the facility, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Saturday.
Based on the investigation, 7 case-patients have been identified in Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia with illness onset dates ranging from June 27, 2016 to September 4, 2016.
