Leia's Carrie Fisher Is Not in Star Wars: Episode 9

A new breathtaking teaser has also been released, featuring a glimpse of Mark Hamill as the one and only Jedi master Luke Skywalker. But this has been one of the teasers fans of Star Wars have been waiting to see ever since the complete production of the movie began.

We see Rey's hand making rock particles that defy gravity and dance using the Force.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi looks grimmer and darker as compared to the last episode, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. She made every celebration so much fun.

According to a statement from Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy, Carrie Fisher will not appear in the film at all, though she mentioned that we'll get to see her quite a bit in The Last Jedi.

The trailer also revealed the other two leads, Finn and Poe to be in precarious situations of their own in the Last Jedi.

Maybe we'll still have same Leia or maybe they'll give her a loving send off. "[He] was probably confused because we finished everything in "[Episode] Eight", and Carrie is absolutely phenomenal in the movie", she said. Hamill said his personal and professional life would have been diminished had she not been part of them.

He shared: "I'm grateful that we stayed friends and got to have this second act with the new movies". That shot was very reminiscent of the last shot in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, oddly, but Rey is most definitely on her way to becoming a strong force user. "Sadly, Carrie will not be in [Episode] IX", she told ABC while interacting with the Good Morning America host. "What Rian wrote and the performance she ends up giving is an unbelievable tribute to her talent", the Lucasfilm president added. With that said, here is everything we learned about Star Wars: The Last Jedi at Star Wars Celebration. I feel like that's what happened with Carrie. Now we know that her journey will end with The Last Jedi.

It's sad to know that Carrie won't be in Episode IX, but of course, that's more ideal that seeing another actress replacing her or featuring a CGI version of her in a saga film.
