A black Texas congressman said Saturday that he's been threatened with lynching by callers infuriated over him seeking impeachment of President Donald Trump.

"It does not deter us", Green said of the threats.

Trump, a Republican, has dismissed criticism of his firing of FBI Director James Comey amid the agency's investigation of possible links between Russian Federation and Trump campaign associates. "Try it and we will lynch all of you". He believes Trump should be impeached because of "the obstruction of a lawful investigation of the President's campaign ties to Russian influence in his 2016 Presidential Election", according to Green's website.
