Lorde invites fan to attend the Governors Ball with her

Clearly won over by the customer service given by cashier Ayesha Mangu, Lorde, 20, is seen throwing up two peace signs in a Twitter video after being served a "blue velvet" drink at the Liquiteria shop in New York City.

Lorde, who's scheduled to perform at Governors Ball on June 2, invited her fan to accompany her to the Randall's Island Park festival this year. The original track, which was released back in March, was released in addition to the promotional single, "Liability", as the first glimpse of her forthcoming third album, Melodrama, due June 16.

At first Medina thought the message was a joke, but it turns out Lorde had wanted to ask her in the store, explaining that she "got shy".

Lorde is now in NY to prepare for her headlining performance at the Governors Ball music festival this weekend.

Emely responded by writing, "Omg!Yes! I'm crying rn! This is insane". She was too nervous to do it in person, though (LOL!) so she invited her via Twitter messages.

But it wasn't a dream, the witch Lorde was real and so was her offer, which seems to have come at no price.
