Chicago Professor Allegedly Killed His Boyfriend As Part Of A Sexual Fantasy

Prosecutors said Wyndham Lathem, a microbiology professor at Northwestern University, and Andrew Warren, a treasurer at Oxford University, communicated for months in an online chat room about their "sexual fantasies of killing others and then themselves", the Chicago Tribune reports.

Lathem also sent a video to friends and relatives apologising for his involvement in the crime, which he described as the "biggest mistake of my life".
