Julian Draxler never considered deadline day move despite Arsenal interest

Kylian Mbappe says he is in a hurry to "win everything" with Paris Saint-Germain following his loan move from Monaco with a £164.5 million option to buy.

The ex-Monaco sensation was in demand ahead of this season, with the Gunners, PSG and Real Madrid all chasing the France global.

PSG secured Mbappe less than a month after signing Brazilian superstar Neymar from Barcelona in a world record 222 million euro ($264 million) deal.

As to what had motivated him to leave the reigning champions, who like PSG have won their first four games of the season, he added: "For me it was the project that was going to allow me to develop, to learn while winning".

Arsenal, who have always been linked with the attacking midfielder, were said to be considering a move for him on deadline day as the club prepared to cash in on Alexis Sanchez.

"He is an additional advantage", said Mbappe.

"The 90 minutes [against Norway] have been very, very important for me". Of course I had an idea what a great football club was like but I was really impressed by the working culture and the mentality of wanting to be better day-in, day-out. "It's extraordinary to play with someone of that level".

Al-Khelaifi said: "We respect all of Federation Internationale de Football Association and Uefa's rules".

Praising United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward for predicting the market surge, Mourinho told The Times: "I think we were very clever". It's not our problem if other clubs aren't happy.
