BlackBerry Motion is essentially the KEYone without its hallmark keyboard

BlackBerry Motion, a new smartphone from TCL, has been launched with a full touchscreen at the GITEX Tech Week in Dubai.

BlackBerry KEYone vs BlackBerry Motion. Total Motion BlackBerry is a boring machine, but with an interesting design and supposedly for the business segment, although in this respect the distinguishing features of it, but there is the notorious frame around the screen.

Blackberry is yet to confirm the name of the device, but in August, Francois Mahieu, head of global sales at TCL, said that a new device would launch this month.

The BlackBerry Motion bestows a 5.5-inch Premium Anti-Scratch touchscreen display with a FHD 1080p resolution. The device comes with a Snapdragon 625 chipset which is supported by 4GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded using an additional MicroSD card of up to 2TB.

Initially, this device will run on the Android 7.1 Nougat OS; the latest Android 8.0 Oreo update is coming in 2018.

Starting from today, the BlackBerry Motion is available on pre-orders in UAE with a pricing of Dh 1,699 (~$462) and in Saudi Arabia for 1,699 Riyal (~$453). The Canadian smartphone brand has not yet revealed when it will bring the device to other markets.

The BlackBerry KEYone cost £499 at launch and was available to buy in the United Kingdom at first from Selfridges and then the Carphone Warehouse. 30fps. The front packs re's an 8MP Selfie camera with f/2.0 and LED flash. It's the first Blackberry to be water and dust resistant.

One part of the Motion that stands out is its 4000mAh battery, which, given that the hardware isn't exactly demanding, should mean the phone lasts a comparatively long time between charges. Also onboard is the home button present which is embedded in the screen with a fingerprint scanner. That'll enable 50% rercharging in 40 minutes.

BlackBerry is emphasising on battery life, security features and stable software.
