Nvidia launches GeForce GTX 1070 Ti at Rs 39000

Numerous manufacturers will offer Ti-based cards, including Asus, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI, and PNY. The GeForce GTX 1070 Ti benefits from Nvidia DirectX 12, HDR and VR Technologies.

The price of $449 or ₹39,000 is just a staring price as manufactures will launch their custom versions of the processor with other components. The street price will vary due to the existence of cryptocurrency mining.

This new GPU will be available on 2nd November in 238 countries including India. The only real disappoint is the lack of surprise-the specs line up with the most recent leaks.

The key difference is that where the 1080 enables the full GP104 chip, the GTX 1070 Ti disables one SMM cluster of 128 cores. Apart from that an issue with the GeForce GTX 1080 laptop (with G-Sync) has been addressed and now stuttering is gone. The new card is equipped with 2432 CUDA cores.

It has a base speed of 1607MHz and a boost speed of 1683MHz.

This system uses vapor chamber cooling as and an external design much like its predecessors, using the 1070's 256-bit bus for an overall memory bandwidth of 256GBps as well.

Nvidia claims the 1070 Ti offers more than three times the performance of previous-generation graphics cards. In addition to tons of GTX 1080 features, NVIDIA teased that their partner AIB resellers "have built cards with thermals and power supplies that allow gamers to push performance way past stock specifications".

With this new GPU, gamers will be able to play at 2,560×1,440 or ultra-wide 1080p monitors at the highest graphics quality settings. NVIDIA has also published a "Destiny 2 Graphics and Performance Guide" to show how to get the best compromise on your gaming PC.
