We take a closer look at LG's new V30+. Under the hood is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB RAM. The handset also features a microSD card slot for expansion. B&O Play has done the audio tuning on the phone. The phone comes with 6-inch FullVision display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Snapdragon 835 Soc. It is giving away a wireless charger that is priced around Rs. 3,000 and also it is offering Rs. 6,400 worth in-app purchases for the Beat Fever app.

Other specifications include front and rear cameras. on the front of the device there is a 5 megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Running Android 7.1.2 Nougat with UI-UX 6.0+ on top, the smartphone is expected to get the Android Oreo update soon. It includes a 3,300mAh battery that carries support for wireless charging. It's still successor to last year's audio-centric phone, the V20, and comes with an unusual 18:9 Full Vision display - instead of a regular 16:9.

The V30+ comes with various security features such as Face Recognition for unlocking the phone instantaneously using the front facing camera and without pressing any buttons even when the phone's display is off. Voice Recognition uses a combination of the user's voice and user-defined keywords (optimally three to five syllables) to unlock the V30.

- The USP of the V30+, according to LG, is its big bezel-less display. Featuring an OLED FullVision display, the device packs in a Cine Video mode for producing movie-quality videos. Notably, the LG V30+ carries the credits for being the world's first smartphone to feature f/1.6 aperture. The V30+ is also compatible with Google's Daydream virtual reality platform. The primary camera is of 16MP with f/1.6 aperture and the secondary unit is of 13MP with f/1.9 aperture.

- The V30+ dual camera system has been built not only to take outstanding still photos, it has also been created to shoot pro-level videos. The device comes in Black and Silver color variants. With the V30+, LG has abandoned the secondary screen and now has a floating bar which highlights app shortcuts.
