NK rejects claim it is developing biological weapons

The White House National Security Strategy, released Monday, also said Kim Jong Un is working on chemical and biological weapons.

The report cited by Bloomberg News says the North is testing the biological agent to see if it can survive the vast temperatures the missiles generate.

The source said that North Korea was likely looking to load its range of ICBMs with anthrax as its nuclear-tipped missiles can not yet reach the USA mainland.

"It is the U.S. that conducts military aggressions and cruise missile attacks on sovereign states in broad daylight while faking "possession of WMD" and "use of chemical weapons" of those countries", said the statement.

It read: "North Korea-a country that starves its own people-has spent hundreds of millions of dollars on nuclear, chemical, and biological weapons that could threaten our homeland".

"They are also the American politicians and the white supremacists making conceived attempts for state terrorism and racial extinction through overt research and development of the biological weapons in the worldwide-scattered U.S. laboratories", it said.

In response, North Korea said it would "take revenge" on the USA for saying it is developing biological weapons.

The report by NTI also stated North Korea was capable of indigenously producing other agents of biological warfare including Variola major (smallpox), Francisella tularensis (rabbit fever), and Bunyaviridae Hantavirus (Korean hemorrhagic fever).

If the threat of a nuclear-tipped intercontinental ballistic missile strike wasn't enough to make people pay attention to North Korea, credible reports state the rogue nation is now conducting tests to arm those missiles with anthrax.
