Nintendo sold 7.2 million Switch consoles in the three months through December and raised its annual sales forecast by a million from an earlier projection of 14 million units. The company has promised that a new Pokemon game for the console will also be released in the future.

"Odyssey" in particular topped the charts, with 9.07 million units sold, while "Zelda" reached 6.7 million copies.
