Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook and forward Carmelo Anthony both missed the Thunder's game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday night because of ankle injuries. They dropped the first meeting 108-104 in Oklahoma City on Sunday.

The five-time All-Star admitted that he is indeed happy to be in Oklahoma City as part of the Thunder. Anthony missed just his second game of the season due to injury after playing only six minutes against the Warriors before spraining his right ankle.

George started strong with 12 points in the opening 6:52, hitting his first five shots including three 3-pointers.

Oklahoma City had been starting rookie Terrance Ferguson at shooting guard since Andre Roberson went down with a season-ending knee injury on January 27, but coach Billy Donovan started small forward Josh Huestis in place of Ferguson on Tuesday because of the length of Golden State's wings.
