Pence Calls Out ABC News, Joy Behar for 'Religious Intolerance'

"I just call them out on it, not because of what was said about me, but it's just simply wrong for ABC to have a television program that expresses that kind of religious intolerance".

Last week during an episode of "Celebrity Big Brother", former White House staffer Omarosa exposed various aspects about the current administration that anxious her the most. She warned her fellow contestants about Pence's "extreme" faith.

"As a Christian, that's just par for the course", she said.

Well, that bit of news was more than Behar and the other squawking magpies could stomach.

"It's one thing to talk to Jesus", Behar said. "It's another thing when Jesus talks to you", Behar said Tuesday.

"That's called mental illness...if I'm not correct, he's hearing voices". "Despite what Joy says, despite what even President Obama declared many years ago, this is a Christian nation". "I'd like to laugh about it, but I really can't".

The vice president said "The View" hosts insulted the "vast majority of the American people who cherish faith". "I just think it demonstrates just how out of touch some in the mainstream media are with the faith and values of the American people that you could have a major network like ABC permit a forum for invective against religion".

Well, if hearing the voice God means that a Christian is mentally insane, then add my name to that list.

Watters said Christians like Pence listen to God and can hear God while their in church, adding that he feels he needs to visit the confessional after watching "The View" because "listening to Joy is a sin".

"I think it behooves us and our Korean allies not to be charmed (and) consider North Korea for the regime it is and deal with it on the basis of fact, not charm", he told the House of Representatives Armed Services Committee.

Later in the segment, Behar had clarified that she doesn't actually think Pence is mentally ill.

"You [addressing Behar] saying that, I think Jesus speaks to me every morning".

Oh, she only thinks Christians are just a little insane.

"We want to make sure North Korea understands us, and if there's an opportunity for talks that can communicate the fixed policy of the United States of America to them, the president has made it clear he always believes in talking".
