WWE Star Jeff Hardy Arrested for DWI After Car Wreck

Pro Wrestling Sheet reports Hardy was booked around 10:30 p.m. and released about an hour later. He is also known for competing in an infamous Heavyweight Championship match against Sting during his time in TNA where Sting forcefully pinned Hardy who was inebriated. Hardy reportedly crashed his auto, and his BAC clocked in at three times the legal limit, which is .08 percent in North Carolina.

The police report states that Hardy did an estimated US$8,000 worth of damage to the auto and US$5,000 worth of damage to the guardrail.

Matt Hardy is now on the verge of ending his feud with Bray Wyatt on Monday Night Raw, whereas, on the other hand, his brother Jeff Hardy has been recovering from injury and is on the verge of making a return to the WWE.

Jeff Hardy's latest legal blunder might wind up seriously hurting his brother Matt's latest push.

"WRESTLER shall act at all times with due regard to public morals and conventions during the Term of this Agreement. PROMOTER shall have the right to immediately suspend WRESTLER and/or terminate this Agreement pursuant to Section 12".

"Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions", WWE said in a statement, per CBS Sports. "We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials".
