Twitch Announces Monthly 'Free Games with Prime,' Reveals March and April Titles

So, get ready to see more news about Twitch Prime and don't forget to stay tuned for more free games in the future as we will keep a close eye on Free Games with Prime. Since there is now a free game bundle that comes with the subscription of Twitch Prime, it has all major forms of mass media that a Prime subscription covers, according to Fast Company. The first batch of games, which subscribers can download until March 31, includes Superhot, Oxenfree, Mr. Shifty, Shadow Tactics, and the Dungeons & Dragons game Tales from Candlekeep: Tomb of Annihilation. All eight titles featured in the Indie Amplifier poll, which was originally only planned to deliver the top three games for free, will be included in either March and April. This new program is sort of an extension of that, only gamers need only be Prime members-there is no requirement to watch a stream or cast a vote.

The free titles will be available for a select time frame, after which they will be refreshed with the next slot of games.

Members who claim the free games have them for keeps, which differs from the free month-long access PlayStation Plus offers to its members.

Twitch members will start receiving their free loot this week, as the program kicks off on Thursday. "Your Twitch Prime membership just leveled up", wrote Twitch in a blog post. However, from April 1st onwards, more titles will be added to their offering including games such as Tales from the Borderlands, SteamWorld Dig 2, and many more. The subscription will run you $12.99 per month, or $99 per year, and give you access to all of the Amazon Prime benefits. So either you are subscribed to Twitch Prime, or Amazon Prime, you are entitled to this offer.
