UCLA guard Aaron Holiday, Jrue Holiday's brother, declares for 2018 National Basketball Association draft

LiAngelo Ball, the younger brother of Los Angeles Lakers rookie Lonzo Ball, made a case on Tuesday for why it was a good idea to declare for the NBA Draft. When selected by the Lakers, people saw him as the future face of the team, with CEO Magic Johnson, who formerly played for the Lakers saying, "I expect the franchise to retire a #Ball jersey in the future" referring to how he expects Lonzo to be a superstar.

Ball is expected to work out for some NBA teams and will participate in the Pro Basketball Combine in May, Gaines told Yahoo!

This morning LiAngelo submitted early-entry paperwork to enter the June draft.

Holiday was one of the Pac-12's best players this season, posting 20.3 points per game, 3.7 rebounds per game and 5.8 assists per game.

The 19-year-old has been playing overseas Vytautas Prienu, a professional team in Lithuania.

He's averaging 15.7 points and 2.9 rebounds and is shooting 45 percent from 3-point range in Lithuania.

LiAngelo Ball's time in Lithuania is coming to an end. But in spite of his solid performance, and his outspoken father LaVar's stated goal of shepherding all three of his sons onto the Lakers, LiAngelo is not expected to be picked by any National Basketball Association team.

Holiday played three seasons at UCLA, taking his game to the next level during his junior year after assuming the starting point guard role.

With the 72 points, LiAngelo matched his career-high effort as a senior at Chino Hills (Calif.).

That being said, most analysts don't think LiAngelo will be drafted this summer.
