Johnny Manziel hospitalized due to 'reaction' to prescription drugs

It sounds like Johnny Manziel is going to be just fine.

Former NFL quarterback Johnny Manziel was hospitalized Monday for a "reaction" to a prescription. Manziel had an adverse reaction to an increased dosage of lithium, a drug which had been prescribed to him to combat bipolar disorder.

Manziel was taken to a hospital in Humble, Texas, where he was attending a music festival with friends and had played a golf tournament earlier in the day, TMZ reported. "It seems like he had a reaction to an adjustment in his prescription".

"Thank you everyone for your concern and kind messages", Manziel said in an apparent Instagram post captured by SI.com on Twitter.
