Dallas Cowboys player arrested after Lamborghini crash

Lewis plans to send Williams to a neurological doctor.Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Terrance Williams appeared to be a drunken mess when cops found him after his Lamborghini crash. and now TMZ Sports has the videos and the photos.

On Saturday, Clarence E. Hill of the Star-Telegram reported the Frisco Police Department charged Williams with the Class C misdemeanor of public intoxication and a misdemeanor at large charge because he left the scene of an accident after his Lamborghini was found crashed into a light pole.

Video of the arrest shows that when police questioned Williams about how his vehicle crashed, he answered, "My friend was a f-king idiot".

After the footage was released that showed Williams blaming everything on Wright, Williams' own attorney came out and said the Vikings receiver had no involvement in the incident.

Police found Williams near the scene of the accident, and he was arrested for public intoxication.

Williams claimed that Wright called him and told him his Lamborghini was crashed, but when police asked Williams where his phone was, Williams said that it was in the vehicle. Williams told the officer he was at his home the "whole time" and Kendall Wright had taken the Lamborghini out at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday on a date.

Williams has been with the Cowboys since they drafted him in the third round in 2013.

When police asked Williams how his phone could be in the auto when he had just said that Wright was in the vehicle and called Williams to tell him about the crash, Williams said, "I'm not trying to lie to you. I promise you, I would never lie to y'all", Williams said. However, when asked about the location of his cell phone, Williams said he didn't have it because it was still in the mangled Lamborghini, which would make it pretty much impossible for Wright to have called him.

"All of that is news to me", the lawyer continued.

ESPN.com reported that Vikings officials said Wright and his agent assured them there was no truth to what Williams said about Wright's alleged involvement. "I have to do the work necessary when you have an injury like this when you hit your head if there is any head trauma as far as a gap in memory". He said he would "never put himself in a (blanked) up situation where (the police) would be there".

The Cowboys have not commented since the video release, but owner Jerry Jones told USA Today previously that he backed Williams and took his public statements at face value. "I'm hopeful. I don't know the details".
