Mohamed Salah to undergo treatment on shoulder injury in Spain

The Egyptian Football Federation says Mohamed Salah's shoulder injury will not keep him out for longer than three weeks, meaning he should be fit to play at least some part in the country's World Cup campaign.

"I felt like I deserved it but the manager makes the decisions and what can you do?"

"In the next few days I'll give the fans an answer because they are the ones who have always been by my side", Ronaldo said.

He has, however, since expressed his determination to be fit for the tournament, insisting that he's a "fighter" and that he's "confident" he'll be ready for Russian Federation .

This season, Salah has emerged as a top contender to rival Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona's Lionel Messi for the Ballon d'Or and other player of the year awards after scoring 44 goals in all competitions.

It remains to be seen if the Egypt worldwide will be able to feature in this summer's World Cup, but after his side won the match 3-1 to secure a 13th European title, Ramos hopes to see the 25-year-old back in action soon.

And he became Public Enemy No. 1, certainly in Egypt and Liverpool, after tangling with Salah early in the final in Kiev, which Real Madrid eventually won 3-1 .

"Hany Abo Rida (EFA president) has made a decision to travel to Spain Wednesday with Egypt's national team doctor Mohamed Abo al-Ela to meet with Salah and Liverpool's medical team", EFA said in a statement released late Monday.

"I lost my team the game".

Asked what Klopp said at half-time the Holland global added: "He said that it looked like we were devastated about Mo but we had to let it go and change because it could not change". I did not know it would be so strong.

"But what I wish is he wouldn't play against our team during that match [at the World Cup]".

Egyptians took to social media to vent their frustration over Salah's injury and blame Ramos for causing it, using Arabic's rich and colorful range of expletives.

The name of Diogo Dalot has come out of nowhere as Manchester United look for a new right-back; and the proposed transfer fee will make eyes water.

"I need to be playing week in, week out, and that has not happened this season", he told BT Sport.
