Gmail Redesign to Roll Out to All in July

Once that rollout begins, users will still have the ability to revert back to the old Gmail interface for "a period of time", but after 12 weeks following the rollout's start, Google will force everyone to use the new UI whether they've opted-in or not. If you're interested in checking it out before July's general availability launch, just head over to Gmail on your computer, click Settings in the top right corner, then select "Try the new Gmail". While the company made no mention of a schedule for "regular" Gmail users, its likely both demographics will follow a similar timeline.

Allow their users to opt in to the new Gmail at the time of their choice.

Admins can also let users opt in to the new Gmail when they want. And by October 2018, new Gmail will be the law of the land, with no option to opt-out.

Among other visual addition an additional, collapsable side-panel has been added to the right-hand screen of Gmail, integrating Google' G Suite apps in one handy taskbar.

The company says it will start automatically migrating Gmail users to the new web experience eight weeks after general availability.

New Gmail is now available in an "Early Adopter Program" (EAP) with an option to try it out before the GA. Meanwhile, those who have already transitioned to the new Gmail will no longer be able to opt out.

The new Gmail update will roll out next month. Here's how to use the Gmail improvements, which are ready now.
