Meghan Markle Makes Debut on Buckingham Palace Balcony With Royal Family

The royals may be celebrating Queen Elizabeth's 92nd birthday, but as usual, it's the youngest members of the family who stole the show.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex who just returned from their Honeymoon were spotted at the ceremony as Meghan opted for a pale pink off-the-shoulder dress by Carolina Herrera with a matching hat by Philip Treacy.

This year the ceremony, which is staged every June in London's historic Horse Guards Parade, saw the Colour of the 1st Battalion the Coldstream Guards being trooped.

The duchess and her husband enjoyed a carriage procession to the event with other members of the royal family before they all watched the spectacle from Wellington's old office. Also in a separate horse-drawn carriage was Prince Harry and his new wife, Meghan Markle. Meghan has become particularly close to her father-in-law, who walked her down the aisle and was instrumental in helping Meghan and Harry with wedding planning.

The royal colonels, all on horseback, accompanied the Queen behind her.

Trooping the Colour and the day in Cheshire represent the beginning of the busy royal summer season. Meghan and Harry have stated their desire to jump right in and get to work in their new roles. Then comes the Order of the Garter ceremony at St. George's Chapel, where Meghan and Harry were married, as well as days of racing at Royal Ascot, as well as Wimbledon and the Queen's annual Scottish tour.
