Actors Kit Harington and Rose Leslie react as they leave after their wedding ceremony, at Rayne Church, Kirkton of Rayne in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, Saturday June 23, 2018.

The couple got into an old Land Rover Defender decorated with paper hearts with Just Married written on them and with tin cans tied to the back, which rattled as the couple drove off to the reception at her 12th Century family castle. The stunning bride wore a long-sleeved dress with a pretty lace veil, while her handsome groom looked traditional in a three piece suit. Kit held the auto door open for Rose before getting behind the wheels and later, the duo met the wedding party at the reception hall.

Harington and Leslie announced their engagement in September 2017 with a notice in the Wednesday edition of The Times of London newspaper.

"Because the country is lovely, because the Northern Lights are magical, and because it was there that I fell in love", he recalled.
