Cristiano Ronaldo has received an offer to leave Real Madrid and join Italian champions Juventus, a source close to the player told Reuters on Wednesday (July 4).

Cristiano Ronaldo has been strongly linked with leaving Real Madrid this summer with Juve now the favourites to land the forward.

Ronaldo's former employers Manchester United were originally as the favourites to sign him when his club future was cast into uncertainty.

While Ronaldo's World Cup dream ended last week with defeat to Uruguay in the last-16, Matuidi is preparing for France's quarter-final tie with the South Americans on Friday (3pm).
