The end... Liverpool star Karius' career at club should be over

Liverpool have rewarded Wales global Harry Wilson with a five-year contract.

Leeds United, Stoke City and Derby County had been among the believed front runners to secure his signature, but this latest interest from West Brom may throw a spanner in the works.

Klopp is determined to give Karius every opportunity to get over the calamitous end to last season, when his mistakes pockmarked the Champions League final but Liverpool's manager does not have endless patience and the concession of such a cheap, avoidable goal - even in a match of little outcome - will leave him thinking.

The 21-year-old was born in Wrexham and has represented Wales at both youth level and senior level.

"[I want] to impress and give everything everyday to show the boss and help the whole team and show I can be a part of this Liverpool squad and go from there".

Speaking about his aspirations with Liverpool, Wislon said: "I think my short-term focus is to keep trying to impress the manager day in, day out in training and, the minutes I get in pre-season, try and impress".
