Royal family release new christening photo of Kate cradling smiling Prince Louis

Jul 17, 2018, 02:00

Not only do the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's children make an appearance in the handsome pictures, but also the Duke and Duchess of Sussex - Prince Harry and Meghan Markle - Kate's parents, Prince Charles and Camilla as well as Pippa Middleton, her husband James Matthews and James Middleton. But for some royals fans, the shot of just mother and son was the standout of the set.

"The Duke and Duchess hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do".

The christening photos were captured by photographer Matt Holyoak and four of them have now been released to the public.

Although all the pics of the two-month-old and his family were adorable, this cheeky little snap of the little prince and Kate is our favourite!

But because Will and Kate know what the masses want and Louis is the gift that keeps on giving, the royal couple gave us yet another reason to love them.

It was taken by Matt Porteous, chosen by the Duke and Duchess to to be their private photographer for the day, at Clarence House after Louis was baptised in The Chapel Royal at St James's Palace.

She continues to explain: "The large group shot is also equally relaxed and the "power" symmetry is telling".

Meghan Markle, on the other hand, is a new addition, standing beside Prince Harry for her first royal christening photograph series. Everyone was so relaxed and in such good spirits, it was an absolute pleasure.

Meghan got some flak for holding her husband's arm in the photo from a few Debbie Downers, with some calling her "clingy", but most people oohed and aahed over the attractive family snaps.
