Sacha Baron Cohen had an awkward interview with O.J. Simpson

The former National Football League player and film star was acquitted of Nicole and Ron's death, however many still debate his involvement. Palin was nowhere to be found, even though she revealed in July that Cohen's team tricked her into appearing on the show by calling the interview an opportunity to honor American veterans for what she called a "legit Showtime historical documentary". It clip ended abruptly, but based off Simpson's body language and repeated requests for Cohen to "stop", it is safe to assume that at some point it was all too much for Simpson. "But see CBS and Showtime, they're going to be pimping this thing hard, so they're going to hear about it, anyway".

While the said segment did not make it to the show, Cohen did give a special shout out to the former Republican vice-presidential candidate.

Palin has yet to comment on social media about being trolled by Cohen without actually being shown in the series, and did not yet respond to TooFab's request for comment. "And second of all, I didn't do it", the 71-year-old replied, adding, "I didn't "get away" with nothing". - was unaware he was being interviewed by the comedian, sat down with a man he believed to be Gio Monaldo, an Italian billionaire playboy, fashion photographer, and television host whom Cohen has inhabited throughout the first season.

The character made constant references to Simpson killing his ex-wife, but instead of flat-out denying them, he was getting a real kick out of the sick jokes.

"Me and you, we got something in common", Gio said later in the interview. We both, how you say, ladykillers, ' he tells him.

He then high-fived Simpson, who continued to laugh and playfully told Monaldo to "stop".

After the girlfriend left the room however, Cohen really got down to business. Gio said he'd like to "send her on a private helicopter and throw her over the Grand Canyon- oopsy daisy".

"She knows that", Simpson said, laughing.

Cohen, as Monaldo, also says he wants to be introduced to Simpson's defence lawyer, Johnnie Cochran. The intent of the meeting was to try and get Simpson to admit to killing his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ronald Goldman. "Except that I didn't do it".
