Sandringham - Queen Elizabeth and senior members of the British royal family - along with newcomer Meghan Markle, an American actress engaged to Prince Harry - attended a Christmas church service on Monday as a crowd of local residents gathered. According to Royal sources, that argument with Meghan left Kate in tears.

Meghan Markle is being blamed for Prince Harry and Kate Middleton's indifference towards each other.

Speaking to The Sun, when the recent reports of the row were put to a palace spokesperson, they responded with: "This never happened".

Since the two couples do not want to repeat the same experience again this time, they have made a decision to spend Christmas apart from each, according to reports in a British tabloid.

It's easy to wonder why the palace would comment on a news story - doesn't a denial just make the original story seem so much more valid?

Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton are making headlines these past few days over a rumoured feud between the Duchesses.

The Cambridges will be joining the rest of the Royal Family at Sandringham at Christmas.

Tensions have reportedly been high between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle lately, but as far as Kensington Palace is concerned... well, move along, folks, because there's nothing to see here!

But if Markle wants advice on how to ride out the media storm, she may want to consider what another person in the public glare - former American First Lady Michelle Obama - has provided.

Giving an insight into her parenting, and perhaps grand-parenting, she told the magazine they need routine, saying: "You can't suddenly start teaching them about politeness at 13".

In September, Doria was on hand to help launch Meghan's first solo charity project as a royal, Together: Our Community Cookbook , where she said she was "head over heels" proud of her daughter's accomplishment.
