Marvel's Spider-Man's final DLC instalment is releasing today, and as a special Christmas present, Insomniac Games is also releasing one of the most iconic suits yet.

Analyst Mat Piscatella took a good look at the NPD sales data from November and confirmed that the game is the fastest selling superhero game in the US. Insomniac spared no detail, with highlights including the Scarlet Spider costume from the oft-criticised Clone Saga storyline, the 2099 suit worn by Miguel O'Hara in the titular year and Spider-Man Noir, who recently appeared in the spectacular animated film, Into the Spider-Verse. A few holes in the spider-web of deceit and villainy can be quite visible if you focus too much on the story.

The Sam Raimi, or Webbed, suit comes in version 1.13 which was added in succession with version 1.12.

Addressed various additional issues in "Silver Lining" DLC pack.

Spider-Man DLC Silver Lining releases on 21 December. You'll still be able to play it until that date, but don't expect to see any new content being added to the title.

The sequel to "Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse" will be directed by Joaquim Dos Santos (Avatar: The Last Airbender, Voltron) from a script by "Wonder Woman 1984" scribe, David Callaham.

Now you can finally listen to Spider-Man's promotional single "Spidey-Bells" from the movie soundtrack - a song our friendly neighborhood hero made as a marketing gimmick and goes on to quickly regret.
