It shows a version of a mapping app spread across three screens, after which the user folds the device's sides down.

But if Xiaomi is planning a foldable device, it would be the latest phone maker to tip its hat to the foldable category and one of the better examples of what a foldable device could be.

The device also seems to be running Android 9.0 Pie, as is evident in the manner the time is shown at the top left of the device when held in smartphone mode.

If we view this leak with past reports, it sounds somewhat credible that this could be Xiaomi's foldable phone.

For now, the clip prompts more questions than it answers. The device turns into a compact-sized phone (at least as per today's smartphone screen size standards) when it is fully folded.

But here's the catch: the leaker, Evan Blass, says he is unsure of the authenticity of the video above, supposedly showing off the new foldable device made by Xiaomi.
