Willmott and Lee's screenplay will go up against "A Star is Born", "The Ballad of Buster Scruggs", "Can you Ever Forgive Me?" and "If Beale Street Could Talk" for the Oscar.

Netflix must be celebrating today, with not only "Roma" pulling in 10 nominations but the Coen brothers receiving a nod for penning their anthology western film.

Popular musical romance A Star Is Born and Dick Cheney biopic Vice finished with eight nominations each, while superhero blockbuster Black Panther finished with seven. However, it was a bit shocking-almost offensively so-to see Bradley Cooper missing from that list for A Star Is Born.
