In terms of specifications, Mi MIX 3 5G comes with the same set of features and design as the flagship device.

The Xiaomi Mi 9 ships with a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution.

Xiaomi has announced that the Mi 9 price will be €499 (about Rs 36,000) for the 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage variant.

Xiaomi Mi MIX3 5G is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 processor paired with X50 modem.

The Mi Mix 3 5G is touted to continue the Mi Mix 3 legacy, including the ceramic body and the slider mechanism.

The 5G Mi Mix 3 packs the brand new Snapdragon 855 processor, an upgrade from the Snapdragon 845 found in the 4G version, as well as other components and antennas that make 5G happen on phones - the Snapdragon X50 5G modem is a highlight, of course.

In the photography department, Mi MIX 3 sports dual pop-up selfie cameras of 24-megapixel and 2-megapixel depth sensor. You also get wireless charging, fast wired charging, type C connector, dedicated Google Assistant Button and the magnetic slide system to reveal the cameras.

Xiaomi kicked off the event with 5G - because 5G is the Barcelona buzzword this week - refreshing last fall's Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 with a new 5G version. This may seem too high if taking into account the price policy Xiaomi has been always running, but the company also said the cost of 5G chips and components is still very high. Alongside the Mi Mix 5G, Xiaomi announced the debut of the Mi 9 and Mi LED Smart Bulb. It also features an in-display fingerprint scanner. Pre-orders for the Mi 9 start in Spain, Italy and France today. The 5G device will be priced from 599 Euros (about RM2,768) and it comes in Onyx Black and Sapphire Blue.
