Eric Holder has been named a suspect by the Los Angeles Police Department in the multiple victim shooting, which resulted in the death of Crenshaw rapper, Nipsey Hussle.

Hussle and the suspect, 29-year-old Eric Holder, knew each other, Chief Michel Moore said, but he did not reveal how they were acquainted or offer any details about the dispute.

Meghan Aguilar, a spokesperson for Los Angeles Police Department, said there was "mass panic and chaos" beginning after 8 p.m. outside of Hussle's clothing store, according to CBS Los Angeles.

Per security cam footage, Hussle and a number of other people were in the parking lot, and sources say that the suspect retrieved a gun and opened fire after having a heated conversation with the late rapper. Holder then fled in a waiting auto driven by a woman, the chief said.

A disturbance at a memorial for Hussle Monday night left at least 19 people injured, including two people who were taken to local hospitals in critical condition. At least two members of the crowd were critically injured and one injury was reportedly from a auto hitting a pedestrian.

An autopsy completed Monday showed that Hussle, 33, died after being shot in the head and torso. Two other people were wounded in the shooting, police said.
