Super FlashCharge: This is the fastest charging technology yet

From 15W, 18W or even 20W fast charging, we have moved on to 40W, 50W, 55W fast chargers but the smartphone makers aren't stopping anytime soon. Which this rapid growth in technology we might be saving a lot of time and energy buy are they really safe? While we haven't seen a Xiaomi phone with this technology, Vivo just announced a faster-charging technology that this. "Vivo 120W super fast flash charging, come!"

In April, Vivo had launched the iQOO gaming phone. So far, nearly every big premium and mid-range smartphone from the likes of Honor, Samsung, OnePlus offers fast charging. Vivo claims that the 120W charging technology will be able to fully juice up a 4,000mAh smartphone in 13 minutes. It has been reported that Xiaomi too has been working on similar tech.

A Vivo product manager posted a video to Weibo demonstrating a phone charging from around 10 to 14 percent in the space of about 16 seconds thanks to Super FlashCharge, though it doesn't show anywhere close to a full charge cycle. This seems to suggest that Vivo's new charging would accompany its 5G device.

With the MWC Shanghai taking place next week, Vivo is expected to showcase this technology there & it would be interesting to see it in real life.

Also, the phone features an expanded in-display fingerprint sensor, which gives users more area to unlock the screen.

That said, there's no telling when phones that actually support 100W charging will launch.

Most likely, new technology will be presented at the Asian event Mobile World Congress 2019 in Shanghai next week. The Vivo Apex 2019 sports a portless design, with no holes on the device for anything.
